Want to get back up to speed with your rescue practice for the 2022 Paddle Season? Interested in stepping up to lead a club trip? Join us for our rescue practice and leader training sessions. 

YMCA Pool Sessions will be held on Thursday March 24 and 31 at 6:30-8:00pm for returning members and TRIPS Leaders. These sessions are for rescue and rolling practice. Cost is $10 per session to help us cover the pool rental fees.

We will have a short day of leader training at Pioneer Park. This is an RCABC Club Trip Leader Clinic so attendees need to sign up as a “Paddler Member” of the RCABC for an additional $15. As we are VERY keen to have more trip leaders this clinic is otherwise free. You must have already taken our Learn to Paddle Series and Introduction to Moving Water Clinic in past years or have other equivalent experience. We strongly recommend that you attend one of the above pool sessions for rescue practice.
